Since
1976, Corner Brook Pulp and Paper has carried out a comprehensive
silviculture program aimed at providing a sustainable supply of raw material
for the mill and maintaining other forest values. In that time period, much
has been invested in stand improvement and reforestation on Company limits.
Most of these expenditures have been cost shared with the Federal and
Provincial Governments. |

Silviculture

harvested areas. Regenerating the forest is essential to maintaining
